Welcome to MoltenMetalofNY.com

Hello,
My name is Greg. Myka, I am a metal and wood artist who creates animal portraits and landscapes using a plasma cutter, welder, and upcycled wood, and other materials. As an avid outdoorsman and traveler, I draw deep inspiration from the wild places I explore—the towering peaks, rugged landscapes, and the powerful animals that inhabit them. My work often celebrates large creatures of mountainous regions, such as buffalo, whose strength and presence captivate my imagination.

I have been immersed in the arts since a young age, but it is only recently that I took the leap to become a full-time artist. This transition has allowed me to fully channel my passion into creating art that reflects my love for nature, wildlife, and the stories that connect us to the land and places we cherish.

Each piece is a unique fusion of industrial strength and organic beauty—a collaboration between my skills, the visions of my clients, and the raw, upcycled materials I bring back to life. Using plasma cutting and welding techniques, I shape discarded metal and reclaimed wood into expressive forms that evoke the power, spirit, and grace of the natural world.

For me, the true reward lies not just in the making, but in the connections my work builds—whether it’s the joy a client feels when they see a beloved animal or special place captured in steel, or the sense of awe a unique piece can inspire. My art is a celebration of resilience, wildness, and the enduring relationship between humans, the creatures, and the environments we share the earth with.
