I just returned from two weeks in Hawaii completing a private, on-location commission - a custom sliding door designed as a functional work of fine art. The sliding door was crafted from locally sourced Hawaiian Milo wood, hand-poured epoxy, and structural steel that came together to create a one-of-one architectural statement rooted in its environment. I’m not a fabricator producing decor, I’m a metal artist creating heirloom works designed for collectors who value craftsmanship, permanence, and originality. Each commission is one-of-a-kind, material-driven, and built to live in a space for generations. We ended the year with one last delivery! Bernie fell in love with the bison, “Unphased”, but decided to order a custom version of “New Beginnings” for her home instead.
